Our emphasis on prayer here on the Metro Mom's blog has been sovereignly ordained by God. We know this because everywhere we look it seems that the Holy Spirit is speaking the same to others. Today we offer a sermon that my husband and I listened to last weekend by John Piper with Desiring God Ministries. Whatever method works best for you I hope you will make the time to benefit from his excellent preaching on why and how we should pray. I pray that it will convict you, bless you and stir you on to excel still more (as it has me) in this God-glorifying practice of praying, "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name..."
